i tried some shaft that is whippier than my regular driver, i kept pushing to the right...

is it suppose to be like that?

I've heard that, but I think all it really does is get the ball in the air. Check out MJ's video on shaft deflection, I think he talked about it there.

I thought if a club was too whippy for you, the ball would go high left and if it was too stiff then it goes low right.

What is your swing speed? Are you swinging the whippier shafted driver at the same speed? What 'flex' is your stiff shaft and now the flexible shaft? Do you know the frequency of each shaft?

Do you think you are 'going normal' in the same position for the flexible shaft as you are with your stiffer shaft? What do you 'feel' is happening to your arms and hands at final release going into impact?

When I tried the same thing, I determined that my body mechanics were changing for the very flexible shaft.. go figure!!!

not sure what my swing speed is now. Swinging at the sae speed. Flex is S (tour stiff is more boardy i think), the flexible shaft is also S. Dunno about the frequency. Basically it's the same shaft diamana kai'li 65, one is from D3 910 the other one is from R11. The r11 is definitely more stiffer, which I like more. I feel like the whippier club would not catch up.

I don't have a different swing, every swing is the same.

is the kali in the D3 the made for Titleist Kali? I think the R11 Kali shaft is the real deal. This will definitely make a difference...
