It's snowing on Easter Weekend

They've tricked it up a bit too much...
One player mentioned that it is OK having firm greens, but with the course being lengthened ove the years, on a lot of the par 4's they are having to use clubs for their second shots which are impossible to stop when the ball hits the green...
So they are hitting good shots in and ending up off the green

I just got home from playing and it's 30 out with a wind chill of 19. Had a great day on the course. If I hear them bitch one time about the weather at Augusta I'm throwing the remote thru the plasma.

It seems to be cold everywherez. Just above freezing here today on the course with a few flurries. I'm glad I had my earmuffs and mittens on!

Appleby disagrees with me
It looks like Appleby made me look silly. Three birdies through four holes would seem to indicate that a good score is out there if your game is sharp.
I had to escape the house for a bit before the Masters came on TV. I went over to Golf USA and looked at all the square drivers, (I don't know if I could get used to swinging a toaster on a stick) got my back-up putter bent 3 degrees flat, checked the swing weight on my hybrid (hasn't felt quite right lately) and went to the grocery store. WHEEEEEE!!!
It's 27 degrees out, but at least it has quit snowing. The weathermen says we will see a balmy 42 degrees on Sunday. AHHHHHH.....that sounds positively wonderful.
The kicker is that it is supposed to be 80 on Monday.
Hey Jbrunk! I played Thursday evening and it got COLD! I wasn't tough enough to try it Friday.

Ya a couple weeks ago I was hitting balls outside man....thought we were through winter....
BTW be careful when it's early into the melt and the ground is still frozen in some areas..........cause except for noticing shadows sometimes you don't realize until the balls bounce.
(towards neighbours' house.....hitting siding right between two large windows.....making very loud noise)
Anyhoo I thought spring was upon us.....super nice weather.....t-shirts outside.....that lasted for about a week....and now we have lots of snow again and it's not been melting.
Oh well.
