So a nice round of 70; God knows when i'll do that again. This
is not the norm for me. I guess the time away from golf and practicing and playing helped. I just went out there and played; tweaked my swing a bit through the front 9 and played a great back 9. Now I'm at a crossroads, do i continue to play a bunch of golf this summer and try to break into the 60s which i have only done a few other times or call it a summer and just say, well best round might as well just happened and simply ride my Ducati around now.
We'll see; i think I'll go play at least a few more times. Feels good to play well and it gave me a new itch to scratch.
-------------------------
Again, this isn't how i play all the time LOL. I don't think i shot under par at all last year and very few were in the 70's. I hit it "OK" at the first GTE in D.C, when i wasn't coming under the sweetspot trackman said i was reaaaaalllllllyy neutral with a lot of 0's.
While answering posts and reading through the winter and spring, i figured out through the "Flying Left Arm Wedge Video" brian did that my whole problem was simply i over-rotated it. I have done it for a while and i just made a conscious effort today to simply NOT DO THAT. Last time i saw brian too my shoulder turn got too flat so i steepened it. So those two things combined had me hitting decent balls at lessons earlier this year so i figured i'd be ok today.
So i guess my pattern right now "feels" a lot like soft draw but not sure what it looks like and i won't know what it looks like because i'm paranoid of seeing my swing on video; don't laugh i am. Maybe i'll get to see brian or kevin before summer is over and get some time on a trackman to check out my numbers and see how i'm hitting driver. I don't think i'm hitting up on it enough and i'm giving up yardage.
This was fun but maybe if i do it again i should get a twitter account and do that LOL.
Night all.
