Lot's of people seem to love Kessler. He was good, but my gosh that guy would usually ask and then answer every question he put forward to his guest. He wasn't THAT great.

I never get too bothered by any announcer on TGC or NBC or CBS. Those cats are working in a pretty spontaneous environment and even though I may totally disagree with an off the cuff swing diagnosis, I feel pretty good that I really know what was going on and could give a hoot about what Kostis or Faldo or Nobilo might say. No biggy.... but I am amazed at how emotional some get about these guys.

Kessler answered the questions because he knew the freakin answers thats why. I am serious. In one interview with Arnold Palmer he actually corrected Arnie on one particular question (about what iron he hit on a particular hole). The guy was a walking golf encyolopedia. It wouldn't surprise me if he was blacklisted from the industry. Outside of Johnny Miller golf commentary makes me physically ill. And it does bother me what they say because if they are not allowed to say anything of substance, they shouldn't say anything at all. Then that would make them like the EPGA tour coverage on golf channel which ironically is the best programming they have.
