Just a question for a newbie

make a "wall" of sand with the smooth side of a bunker rake.
take the wall out with the clubhead, and practice getting the club to bottom out on the target side of the wall.
helps you learn to control low point/get low point ahead of the ball

buy brian's video "over and out." has this drill and tons of other great info.

After watching the video I think it is awsome for bunker play. But I think I was misunderstood or I misunderstood. in one of the recent Manzella live videos Brian spoke about a drill Ben Doyle used in the bunker to help with non bunker contact. I may very well have completely misunderstood but I thought that was what I heard.
I am very happy though, that I purchased over and out. so a win!

Two different areas of the game:
If you can control low point enough to hit the ball first in a bunker(like a fairway bunker shot) with proper impact alignments, then you certainly will be able to in the grass too.

In a greenside bunker you can also control low point, but have it a little further behind the ball.

right, the drill works both ways...
