First, my system flushed my cache and I had to re-register under a different name.
Second, I wa shortchanged at the driving range. I gave the guy a 20, he handed me change, what i thought was 10 dollars, but later I found out it was only 7. I never bothered to check until later. I guess to make up the difference, I will have to "borrow" about 50 or so range balls.
Worst of all, I took a major step backwards in my swing. For 4 straight session at the driving range, I was nailing my driver and hitting it 200- 225 carry, usually straight. Well today, I was hitting my driver about 50-100 yards, way up in the air and wayyyy to the left.
In the past year or so, I have had some luck in hitting my driver well for one session, then I could never repeat that success for months. This was the first time I had gone 4 days straight with success, and I thought I had turned the corner. Well I fooled myself again, and now I am at ground zero again, for the umpteenth time.
I thought I had figured out lag loading, but alas just an illusion. Probably too much backswing. I noticed that with my irons, if I used my body and hips to propel my arms on the backstroke, then I was fine, but much shorter. AN 8-iron with full power I could hit 140-145, but with an abbreviated backswing, I could only get 100 yds. But with that type of backswing I can only get my hands to chest high. I am extremely inflexible. I had had success the previous sessions with stretching my arms out to just above shoulder height to increase power, but that was beginner's luck.
The moral of the story. If you can't log onto the brianmanzella.com forum ,the golf gods are telling you to keep your clubs in the closet.

I hope this means the tape I ordered didn't get lost in the mail.
