I swear this forum is making a convert of me...lol

I didn't think I could order it till next month but I had just a tiny bit left at the end of the month (student) and the great price at amazon made me give in to it....

Decided to relearn the theory on the golf swing using the little yellow book :)

What recommendations do you have for reading the book the first time....

Follow Mr Kelly's instructions for reading the book to the letter. Dont give in to temptation to stray from his agenda for reading the book.

One or four readings won't do. :) .. I like pulling a subject out of the index and following the maze. I think your learning curve is a lot like mine Matt- non-linear. Even Homer's advice to study the book is non-linear, lol. I started in Chapter 10 and branched out. FOH is right about not straying but some of us do. Go check the subjects covered in the two TGM forums and follow along. It's a great journey. Its the one thing I have recommended for everyone to try, glad you are. :D

For 3 years now I have been screaming what an over-rated, confusing little yellow book it is, as my scores have plummeted and my ball-striking improved. Seriously, my progress came only when well thought out interpretations from the book, like on this site and others were infused. It is only of value if you believe the road to improvement and understanding are a journey for a lifetime. Be patient with it and hang around here. Get with a tgm teacher for accelerated understanding. It's not the tablets handed to Moses, but correctly interpreted and understood, it's close.
