I know that Phil isn't playing because he's eating Cheetos ( Vegetarian ) and watching football, but does anyone know why we have a Molinari but no McIlroy, Westwood or Kaymer this week? Is it because of tour membership rules and the amount of tournaments you can play without it? This event would be a lot better if they opened it up to more tournament winners around the world. All they have to do is make the money unofficial for non-tour members.

because the European tour guys aren't going when they can get paid to go somewhere else

The Europeans are only allowed a few tournaments a year, so they pick and choose where they will play around the majors and World Golf Championships. That doesn't leave much room for Kapalua.
