...keep my hips on the backpocket line on the DS?

The natural motion of my hips is to slide on a line parallel to my hips. Thus, on the DS,because my hips are turned, my hips are kicking and screaming to slide diagonally.

Maintaining the forward waist bend while moving my hips parallel to the target line is not easy. Also puts a lot of stress on my right knee. I assume the right knee maintains its bend throughout the DS. Any visualizations or patented Manzella approaches to keep my best side on the correct line, for swingers?

Thx

Also, my upper body rotation follows the path of my hips. Thus, if I am able to slide my hips parallel to the target line, what often happens is I rotate my right shoulder and arms along the plane line instead of along a diagonal line, down and out.

Hips should slide laterally, and upper body and arms should rotate cross-laterally?

Thx

Sounds like you hit hooks and pulls as your bad shots...correct?
