Kinematic sequence backswing?

I was just wondering if there is a kinematic sequence in the backswing as well as the downswing? Also should the kinetic chain be snapped in the backswing and if so when should it be done and what would be the consequences of doing it in the wrong spot?

In a seamless swing there is but one can always re-assemble at the top like Els, Choi, or Toms and still get it right on the way down.

Yeah, by using a pause, extensor action and a still right shoulder (or carry), they can.
