When I had my lesson with Brian, my backswing pivot failed to get much weight transfer to right heel - we worked on it but what really clicked today was reading Sam Snead's "HOW TO PLAY GOLF"....he says
" Note also how the left knee stays in the same horizontal plane instead of dipping...."
Fairly orthodox stuff but for my brain it suddenly opened the door! I can now shift weight very easily and even get my left heel off the ground. Pulled off - not just artificially elevated.
Had a few holes this evening and hit some great shots on a very windy evening.
Hip turn feels more level... and more turn rather than tilted - does that make sense? Distance was great / trajectory was strong and penetrating into stiff breeze.
