lag and all that stuff

I have a problem flipping and I am learning more about what is going on in the swing. I now understand that I need a flat left wirst and cupped right wrist while also having a bent rear elbow at impact. Is this a safe assumption, by straightening my elow to soon, meaning straight at impact, I loose lag?

Shooting4Par like you I am new to TGM and I agree with Jim, I've watched it four times and get something new out of it every time i've watched it. (I'm not a slow learner just a fast forgetter :)

Straigtening your right arm too soon will not -- in and of itself -- cause you to lose lag. However, if your right elbow is straight before impact, you will most assuredly will lose power and clubhead speed.
