Latest swings from the Doc - Diagnose ?

Too steep, cutting across the ball with a hold off move. Needs more work on the other side of the matrix(NSA). If I were him, I'd learn to swing more right and hit a powerful draw for awhile.

Never really cut the ball though, ball flight is very neutral generally, couple of blocks and the odd pull now and again.

lack of distance is the most annoying thing

IMO, the Soft Draw video would be a better fit. You may not need the entire pattern, but it would go into more detail about Kevin's suggestions.

Dont you find it interesting that you have blocks AND pulls? Too steep, too much drag. I really do think you'd benefit from a soft draw type fix.

I believe the Doc is already a very accomplished low handicap player who hits the ball very solidly and consistently. His only gripe is lack of distance.

His problem is lack of hip clearance. You can't wallop the ball with your upper body pivot particularly with the right shoulder if you don't flare those hips open a bit more. You can't fire the right shoulder low through the ball to a wrap around finish with square hips at impact.
