Here is a problem that I actually trained incorrectly, thinking it was correct.. I was pivoting as you have stating on the backswing. In your perfect pivot video. Only I have trained to shift my lower (hips) on the downswing from the perfect backswing pivot out to lets say 9'oclock, which left my left shoulder back and I end up with straight shots but lacking power. Also when this position is off even more, weight still back, I get glancing blows to the right, weak fades.
Now the big question, now after being in this perfect pivot backswing, what should I do to get the left shoulders lined up correct over the left foot in the perfect downswing pivot and not hang them back. I trained incorrectly for a long time, thinking I was doing good. Now its time to get it right. Doing it wrong when you think it was right, really sucks. Pro, You make the Call.
