Hey! I start all of the LO-CHO threads.

Did you like her 320 yard drive? She needs to stop lipping out so many birdie putts.

Pivot: She snaps her kinetic chain as well as anyone. Look at her little head drop move when she puts on the breaks... talk about momentum transfer.

My 'maximum kinetic chain snap*' pattern can really drop kick a white ball. Thanks Manzella.

*An SM term not BM's

LO-CHO- temper temper temper. I'm not the only one that slams clubs when I screw up.

Thanks buddy.

I use my left shoulder throughout. (downswing to "hit it"...and backswing to take it back and establish it's control for the downswing)

In that one I was doing a steeper shoulder turn and trying to trace more out-to-in.

The steeper turn to me feels more like turning my left shoulder down towards the ground (almost as if I had some water on it and I was trying to dump it onto the ground to my left) rather then around my body. (I don't really have the problem but be careful with overdoing this as it can lead to Reverse Pivot Territory gassssssssssssp)

I always focus on the left shoulder but the motion my right arm happens to make always reminds of "lift the torch." (when I do a steepish shoulder turn like this, that is)

As for clubface......pretty standard stuff (Stadard Wrist Action actually...if you know your TGM).......or normal shots.....I just let the club open 90 degrees while I take it to the top.

i.e. swivel (starts and completes early in the backswing) while I lift. (plus my weirdo extra arch of the left wrist in there...sometime after the swivel I think...)

She was 3 strokes off my prediction of -25 for the win.

I absolutely loved the soccer game atmosphere and the chants. She's going to influence Mexican golfers (mostly Mexican Americans) how Tiger influenced African Americans and the middle-class golfer revolution.

What a flawless round of golf!

Next stop: The Kraft Nabisco.

I hope the idiotic golf media doesn't try to turn her into a media made Mt. Woods. They are responsible for Michelle Wie, the most fabricated star of all time... The Paris Hilton of golf... Famous for what?

According to TGC commentators, she's 8-10 yards longer this season. She's NOT as long as the average PGA pro. Although in the right conditions (wind/ fairway) she can bomb it. I think that her standard let's muscle-it-pound-it drive is in the low to mid 280's.

OT- I'm sill wrestling with playing a control game or a power game. Why won't the golf deity give me a 300 yard STRAIGHT drive with 75% accuracy?

If we believe that to be true, that puts her at roughly 280 yards per drive on average which would put just under the average on the PGA tour. That's pretty damn good.

Scroll to driving average.

The sample size is rather small, but at the moment this is all we have to go on. We have to account for playing conditions.

Her 283 is a bit high. I guess her real average this season will be in the mid 270's. I want to see LO-CHO play in a PGA event. I bet she makes the cut.

Whoa!

I'm a fan of Lorena also, but that may be a stretch. The rough, the speed of the greens, and not to mention the much, much more talented competition has to be considered.

I would love to see her try though.

It would have to be the right course, much like Annika chose the Colonnial. If she picked a shorter course she may have a problem, 7200 and up, I think she'd just have too many long irons in.

I don't want to over analysis why she would have trouble. Let's treat our Ochoa making the cut in a PGA tour event like religion, and rely on faith! I have faith that she can get the job done. Super Ochoa!!!!

I agree that she would need to pick a shorter course. She puyts as well as a top 30 PGA tour player...28th according to pga tour p-avg. Obviously this would have to be adjusted for longer courses, and having to approach with longer irons, but but she's so clutch!

She should put on the man muscles like Annika and live Wie's dream of playing on PGA tour :D

i dont think the length is the issue. zach jonson won, heck even brian gay and they are not long, all i am saying the woman has a great mental strength. a true player so to me it would be very interesting

personally I think she should stay on the LPGA and just dominate. No need to prove heself against the men IMO.

Obviously we are exercising some wishful think. I love seeing her beat up on the ladies. Where's Wie? She should receive an invite for a PGA Tour event, but it will never happen. We like media made stars or the next great hype type of folklore.
