Low Left Shoulder Longer in Downswing

Can we revisit this topic or expand on what we have started. My biggest challenge with it is doing it without getting in front of the ball and sticking the club in the ground.

I know left side bend is one key, what are some others?

I think Brian said you need to have the ability to "recover" (in a sense) from that position in the short amount of time that you have to do so.

By "have the ability" I mean physically, athletically. That is to say- not everyone can do it, as I take it. (and as would make sense, I guess)

"Recovering" - getting the axis tilt you need.

I'm just trying integrate something like this in my downswing. Something that may give me that "look," anyway.

I have not tried it much yet though.....nor have I seen it on video.

Sergio Garcia has the lowest left shoulder on the downswing on tour and he keeps it lower for longer than anyone else also.I don't think it's a coincidence that he also has the most lag angle and trigger delay on tour as well.

Yeah,if you don't have his lag you'll end up sticking the club in the ground with that move.

Can you elaborate on this?

This doesn't appear to be so:

You are looking at his left shoulder through impact and the follow through where the left shoulder rises abruptly.

I am talking about the transition through to about where his left arm is just below parallel. If anything he drops his left shoulder on the transition. If you look at hackers that cast from the top, their left shoulder rises immediately.

This video has a better angle <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nTTQSSkIIjY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nTTQSSkIIjY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
