Lower back extended at setup?

I recently took a lesson with Ben Doyle. His comment about my address and pivot was that I should think about a steel rod connecting my tail bone to neck bone. This image has been making me try to flatten out my back out and pivot around my spine such as in NSA. My question is: should my lower back be extended (like doing a deadlift) or neutral (not actively put in extension)

Thanks!

I always hit it better in the "deadlift" position. Can't speak for anyone else.
