Manzella Effect - my swing over about a year.

I've only used Brian's videos and info from this forum. No lessons or anything (wrong continent).

Recent swing - some great ideas from Soft Draw, NHA and now working on "Ideas On Release" and Going Normal. Shooting in 80s, winning comps, dropping Handicap.

Middle swing (seven months ago) - some good stuff, but early days working on Manzella stuff. Golf became playable and fun with this swing.

Old Swing - 1 year ago (!). Obsessed with some bad ideas. Shot in mid-90s on a good day.

Haha - those ideas gave me so much heartache because if someone tells me to do something, I will try very hard to do it. I could groove a swing on the range a year ago, but it was painful trying to play golf out on the course and I was getting worse, not better.

What I can say is that I taught myself from two internet resources with no other teaching - Manzella vids+forum have had a remarkable effect on my game.

Swing is looking good. Nice progress!

... and I thought the Manzella Effect kicked in after one hour .... oh well ....

Thanks folks - yeah they will soon figure out what Stonehenge was really used for!

Improvement came in three chunks - each one prompted by watching a video and applying it to my game. Takes about a week or two for a range/swing improvement to truly become a part of your game IMO. Sometimes much quicker though ;)

1. Watch video
2. Go to range
3. Use the forum (search/ask Qs)
4. Watch video again, you probably misunderstood something
5. Play
