How is this list compiled?

Since several topics acrosss a number of forums have popped up on these list, I am beginning to wonder of their value. Some of these list appear to be good old boy type lists, others biased upon who contributes to the associated publication.

Good for Brian in this case but still wondering how accurate they are?

This list (the top DRIVING RANGE instructors) is kinda goofy becuase they include top flight Learning Centers/schools and favor guys who own their own range.

But it is nice to FINALLY start poping up on the fringes...

Yeah Brian, I noticed that Haney and one of his assistants made the list. The footsteps are getting louder. Heck, I'm deaf and I can almost hear them.
