From my experience watch and playing with some PGA Tour pros, some of them do get upset, but very very few really let it carry over to the next shot.

A lot of them act like Freddy does here after a poor shot.

I will agree with Haney on something he said when he was working with Barkley...to paraphrase...that when golfers get really angry it's usually because their performance isn't meeting their expectations and they raised their expectations too high.

When I start thinking I'm going to hit 17 greens and shoot 65, a bad shot or two usually sets me off more than usual.

Richie,
Just curious. Considering the video data what was he trying to do?

Pattern Zero "T."

Yesterday, I went out to play "The Turn" with my student Mike from Portland.

13 greens, one hit flag stick, four stiff iron shots, and one funny-no penalty shot-snowman later, I was quite happy with my 77.

Considering I hadn't payed 18 holes yet with my new Tour Department Cleveland Driver, and had not tried Pattern Zero "T" on the course, I was quite happy with the results.

Basically, if I don't think I can shoot 66 with the pattern, I junk it.

Might have the right one now.

The Pattern Zeroes....

PATTERN ZERO...

"T" For Tour or Toms....aim down HSP, hit down correct amount, zero out.

"S" - For Square of Shields...aim straight and swing left enough, and down enough, to zero out.
