That is good. Pros are among my favorite people! I was very well supported by club pros as a kid, although in a different country.

I think the show is okay for what it is. It's not intended for hardcore golfnuts and it shouldn't be, as it has to try and capture as wide an audience as it can, and in that audience are beginners and kids so i don't see how it could be anything else and Martin Hall can only do so much and not get too complicated and turn people off, it's not for the hardcore golf fan, i'm okay with it as i know where to get my "fix"....lol.

In my mind, he gave a D plane lesson this week. He used a putting stroke to show that the club face is "5 times more important than the path" in determining initial ball direction. To my non-golf pro mind, understanding the importance of the face is the beginning to understanding D Plane.

Well you may get that because you have been on this site and maybe other sites that have d-plane discussions and you have some knowledge of the d-plane but i was talking about people who have no idea about it. They won't get it from that demo of the putter. There's more to it than that and there's no way Martin is going to go into a detailed discussion about it on the golf channel.

There's people that have all the info from here and elsewhere and they still struggle to understand it, so a demo of the putter face from Martin will hardly make a dent, but he's doing what he can with what he's been given.
