Brian,

I built my own 'inside approach' and I have no problem hitting from the inside. I was at the range hitting 8 iron and 5 wood. The iron shots were all pretty straight with a little fade. The woods were still going right-more of a push instead of the 'ol banana ball.

I might be having a swiveling problem. Any ideas/drills to make sure I am having the fully rolled left arm?

Thanks,
Erik

I have been teaching golf for many years. I am amazed and delighted to have learned a great deal on this forum. I haven't learned a lot of new swing principles, but I have picked up many ways of giving simple and effective descriptions, of the correct motion. Brain is a genius in this regard. What a great teacher does is keep his mouth shut in regards to all he knows about a students problem, and gives just the right amount of information, so the student isn't overwhelmed. I have studied teaching techniques of numerous great instructors. But, I would rate Brain as the best I have come across in 30 years. "Try to rotate your left hand until you could catch rain water with it." is one of my new favorites.

One of my delighted students ask me where I learned the twist away move --------------I said from the world's greatest teacher named Brian.

Martin has my videos. I have Ben's. So does he. Get it?

I first heard it from---of all people---Hal Sutton.

But Bertholy may have 'coined' the term.

But....remember this:

Paul Bertholy taught in New Orleans for a time and was shipped home COD because he made no DENT in the New Orleans instruction scene and was not a factor in unseating the then king, Jimmy Self.

(Taking myself out because I teach more in Louisville) here is a list of the top teachers in the New Orleans area (as far as the general concensus says):

Rob Noel, Money Hill
James Leitz, Pinewood
Tim Brown, English Turn
Bobby Crestman, Bayou Oaks

All GOLFING MACHINE INSTRUCTORS....

I wonder why? ;)!!!
