My Brother's Swing

We figured out how to put video on youtube. YouTube - Jace Hitting Driver

My brother Jace, 'El Guapo', who used to be 'Cajunman' forgot his

password and made a new screen name to 'ElGuapo' and cannot post

yet for some reason, so I am putting up his swing.

Would like some comments for him please.

He is a senior, but we really don't have a handicap because we only

turned our golf scores in like once or twice. I would say he shoots 70s

usually with one round under par so far, but can go south quick and

shoot in high 80's. His misses are hooks and pushes.

When he occasionally gets a hold of one hide the women and children.

Here is him typing now:

Hi, sorry for this being long, I would just like to thank Mr. Manzella for

the great work he does on this website. I can't find anything on the

web close to it.

I've never found a teacher who actually researches the swing and

fiqures out

what works through a scientific process, rather than just forming a

hypothesis and running with it forever. i.e. Hank Haney, Harmon, most

everyone else. Never Slice Again is the best golf video i've ever

purchased and it successfully took away the slice that plaqued me my

entire golf life. The movie screen image was the move that finally

destroyed my chicken wing, something i was struggling for half a year

to do. Thanks for that. I was just wondering if any of the staff

members here noticed anything in my swing that could be improved

upon. I've noticed i have a sweep release (I don't know if that is

something i should keep doing (i.e. Tom Watson) or try to rid of. I hit it

too high with my irons, especially for West Texas, and i think i might

have a power leak somewhere considering i am a very strong

individual and believe im pretty athletic (6-4, two hundred and twenty

pounds, benchpress 250, and played on our state finalist 2A basketball

team last year) but hit it around 290 on average. I'm just trying to

improve and i know this is the best place to do that. Thanks :)

Where did the ball go on those swings?

Ok....

First things first...

That shoulder turn is WAY too flat.

So...

Start your swing by having your left shoulder work WAY more down and under.
