both very straight, maybe slight draw. and long

again, all comments welcome

Define 'long?'

His transition looks a little fast, doesn't look like he's in control there, so I would suspect he's quite inconsistent.

Tell us his usual shot shape, handicap and generally more details.

Powerful Dynamic Action. What are you having him work on?

hes currently 5.4 index. usually hits a draw. recently hes been overdrawing his irons. to me, he swings alot to the right on the driver swing, but because he hits up this straightens his path out.

last time i saw him, i tried to implement a LCT on his iron shots to A.) increase how much he stresses the shaft and B.) to have the face slightly less open so he can control his iron shots better.

hi typical bad shot is either a straight block to the right, or one that draws too much

I'd have him work on his leg work a little bit.

The legs seem dead for most of the backswing - it's mainly arms.

Then the hips spin quite a bit to lead the downswing. Not surprised he comes from the inside and hits a lot of draws and hooks.

I'd suggest trying the Step on the Right Foot Early move a la SD.

I think that would lead to better synchronization between the upper and lower body throughout the swing.
