my (great)lesson with Brian-and a drill question

I was lucky to spend 2 hrs with Brian on his visit to Long Island last month. It was the first time meeting him and also my first time with Trackman. All i can say is one big THANKS to Brian for getting me 'on track' and off my old caddy sling swing. We worked on a dynamic pivot both back and thru the ball...he physically got down on his knees and pulled my hips to the left and around on my downswing. god bless him, he said he'd never been hit but i came damn close. My swingthought has become 'think of a short Italian pulling your belt buckle around' (his words, no offence!). Anyway, I have a question for Brian or anyone who has a similiar problem...what are the best drills to work on to teach me to clear the hips..i tend to stall them out from old habit, and then it's hook city...and during the swing I am unwinding everything at once so i'd like to have the sequencing down pat.

Did I show you the "facing the target" drill?

I remember...if i'm facing the target, feet and all, did you have the ball close to my heel or toes?

Is there something more to this drill than the name implies...just hitting balls while facing the target? My hips stall, as well, and I'd like to try this drill.

thank you

The ball throw drill works good for me,still working to become a former slider old habits die hard! Really enjoyed my lesson with Brian too, cant wait to see him again!

Brian...now that your Golf Channel video is shot, could you elaborate on the "face the target" drill. The name may say it all, but I'd like to hear your description and the best way to use it.

Thank you

Would like to see this demonstrated as well.

Also, if you would explain which type of player(s) in particular would benefit (and why), that would be great as well.
As always, we appreciate your help!
