The "tumble" is a great way to cure under-plane syndrome. Basically you begin your downswing like usual, trying to come down on plane, but as your hands work down towards the ball, you begin to let the clubhead "tumble" outside your hands or away from your body, almost as if there is mud on your clubface and you want to let it sling directly away from you in the direction that you are facing. If you let the club work outside your hands like this and perform a proper pivot and the same time, you will not swing to far the right or underplane, pretty much guaranteed. The main thing to remember is to pivot while doing this, and that this is not a flip, you are not letting your left wrist break down you are rotating the entire left forearm while maintaining your wrist angle, and your are not letting the club fall towards the ball, but away from your body. Any instructors please feel free to correct any errors
