My swing. Any tips/drills appreciated..

First post on here. Have been a member for awhile and have read a lot of the posts on here. Anyways, i have some videos of my swing that are probably about 2 months old but i would like to share them with everyone here and would appreciate any and all feedback. My goal is to hit a shot that either starts straight or just right of target line and falls to the left. Right now my shots are going left. No so much as a dead pull or hook but they end up about 10-15 yards left of my intended line. The main thing im working on now is trying to get my weight on my left heel at impact instead of up on the left toes so so i can come from the inside better. any tips and any other advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Have you been fit for your irons? I had the same problem, 10-15 yards right of target, and after getting my irons fit for lie angle it helped alot.

To be quite honest with you, i worked in a golf shop in my previous job and fitted my self using the lie board and ping's fitting system. Right now im using irons that are a tiny bit flat for me. They tend to dig in the toe a fraction but i cant stand the look of an iron toe sticking way up in the air at address. All in all, with good shots going left, its not going to be from lie angles being flat.

Is the alignment line you have in the video set up parallel to your intended line? For years I was doing this and could not get good direction control. After a lesson with Brian he explained why parallel left of the target was not really good and had me set up a little right of parallel. This helped free up my swing and resulted in much better direction control. Also, the SD1 pattern-video- may be what you are after.

disclaimer I'm a 7.2 index right now but from what I've learned on this site and studying a $hit load of golf swing theory my two cents is you should pick up Brian's new Soft Draw video because what I see is an over-rotation of your left arm FW with pop out. Clubface also looks a little closed (skyward facing at the top). Seems as if SD would also improve your right forearm at setup. Let's see what the pros think...

Looks to me like you are forcing your move from the top and you are atheletic enough to mostly get away with it.

You're definately on your toes and hitting the outside of the ball. Make some practice swings missing the ball on the inside and making a divot past the ball.

Very interesting about not wanting to be parallel left of the target. Can you go into any details about this theory?

Trying not to hijack the thread, but Brian pointed out that aligning parallel left prevented me from swinging left. My swing path was too far right to be able to control the clubface with any accuracy. There was a thread about alignment on here somewhere that Brian explains a little bit more.
