Hi mb, thanks for your reply:
To get into a Couples feel I think I have to increase my meals and take some steroids ;)
No, I think you try to give me more the impression of the extreme of an outside-takeaway to an inside from the top to impact? Freddy´s left wrist is bent on top of the swing, is this o.k., I dont´t think so in terms of TGM?
Anyway, the idea to try Brian´s right forearm takeaway seems to be the best. I will combine the narrower stance and the takeaway for the next video-session and link it here. When I tried the right arm takeaway at home, I felt very stable in the upswing, the only thing which is harder than with the shoulder takeway is to switch from the "right-hand-feeling" to the pivot-controlled feeling in the downswing. (Is this correct ?)
Further more I think my throw-away is a result of overacceleration (ref.: 6-D-2 page 81) of my hands, isn´t it ?

So thanx again, lg Rico

RS05,
Couples cupping at the top is due to his strong grip at setup. For him it is anatomically correct. Couples uses a simple RFT – on the steepest possible plane. Your plane can be different. Homer suggested the Turned Shoulder Plane.
Couples on plane, lack of head movement and lag would help your action.
A 7 yr old could learn the plane and RFT but lag must be trained – the key component of “educating the hands”.
This site has loads of useful info regarding all of the above – start searching and reading.
Then ask the questions to Brian and the other experts who teach golf for a living. They love to teach / help serious students it’s their passion.
