Still hitting very large draws with the occasional pull and still feel I'm getting below plane on the DS.

Please feel free to comment, all welcome good or bad.

Thanks a bunch guys.

Do you always look off the ball on the takeaway?

Your backswing needs more "up" and less "around." Put your butt cheeks up against a wall and make some swings. With a good pivot it'll kinda go cheek to cheek. Don't hit the wall :)

How's your grip. At the top of the backswing and starting down your club face is very closed--facing the sky--but you have a flat left wrist.

No not always but more than I'd like. If I'm hitting the ball well, I usually don't look back. Since I'm struggling a bit, I suppose I'm trying to check out the BS plane. Not a smart move but when I'm sucking it becomes habitual.

I'll give your tips a go. Thanks goose.

I did notice that in the video; it's very apparent from the still shot in the first frame. My grip is neutral so I'm not sure why it's happining at the moment.

brian: when you say 'laid off', would that mean too flat? how would you fix him being laid off?

I think too flat my cause me to be laid off at the top. It means the club is not parallel with my shoulders but pointing left. I think coming back steeper would help or maybe getting my right shoulder up. Not sure

Ok

Too laid off, grip too strong.

I agree with being laid off B. Here is my left hand grip at address.

Get your left hand grip on the club then hold your arm out horizontal with left wrist flat and see what the clubhead looks like. You also want to make sure you're not re-gripping right before or during your swing.

If you need further evidence of the grip issue, check out the throughswing. You've "winged" your left arm pretty hard and the clubface is still facing the ground.

At the top of the swing, an optimal alignment is to have the clubshaft pointing parallel to the target line. ShotLimit's clubshaft is pointing left of parallel. If it were pointing right of parallel, that would be called 'across the line.' If I had to choose, I'd rather be across the line than laid off because laid off usually causes the golfer to come OTT.

Good point Kevin, that ball still had about a three yard draw. Does the grip look ok in the picture above? I must be re-gripping some where. Hopefully it's pre swing.

Will a steeper bs take care of this? The more I watch this swing the worse it looks ugh!

It's a little hard to tell how strong/weak the grip is holding it at address. In your picture, I'd say that grip is just a little strong. But, you need to be able to see the how the clubface sits in relation to a flat left wrist. That's why I suggested holding your arm out horizontally in front of you with the shaft parallel to the ground, the flat left wrist and the club shaft going out to the right and see how the clubface is. The clubface and back of the left wrist should look like you want it to at the top of your back swing.

Ok. Just ckecked it out and it did seem a little bit closed. Straightened it out and brought it back to address and it was way more open than my norm.

Thank for all the input guys, really apreciate it.
