Need some help, forum members...

I would recommend a place on the forum where you could pay to get your questions answered by Manzella staff. I would gladly pay (say $5) to guarantee my question was answered by Manzella staff. I still think that would leave room for Brian or whoever to jump in on the regular forum and chime in when they want, but I think a way to guarantee your question is answered along with follow-ups would be a great addition. Access to review those questions could be open to everyone, but the only back and forth would be between the instructor and the person asking the question. I only get to see Brian a couple of times a year, so I would gladly pay for this type of service to get quick questions answered that do not require a whole lesson.

I am saying pay per question.....only if you want. Not a members only site. You could still use the free forum section. Sometimes I have a question I would love to have answered, and for whatever reason, it doesn't get any traction. I would happily pay for that answer. Manzella live is a good way to handle some of those, but you can't really hone in on your particular issue as easily. Just my opinion.

Testimonials
I think you need to have a testimonial section for people to explain how you helped them. Also, it would be helpful to have a list with links to your videos (free and pay). You give alot of free advice, but I think people would be willing to pay for all your videos because they are extremely helpful.

Things that I would most value would be:
1. Footage of live lessons and explanations of why you took a particular course of action with that particular student.
2. Student case histories, following a sts' progress over a period of time to see how the swing develops
3. The opportunity to see student swing videos from the first day and for us to suggest possible approaches to improvement and then compare that with what you actually did.
I would happily pay for any of the above.

thatll never happen. it would cannabalize the free forum. the free forum is where people that have never heard of brian manzella stumble in randomly and become interested in what he is saying. that wouldnt happen as much in a pay forum, even if there was a free part.

a couple things i'd like to see are:
1. recommendations of other instructors you may know in someone's area because some just can't get down to see you. who would be your choices in that person's area.
2. some actual instruction that you give on video. i've got from some time ago a lot of stuff of manuel de la torre when he goes through a ton of students fairly briefly and you can see the improvement very quickly. not that i agree with a lot of it and some goes against you, I'd just like to see how you handle different situations from students and your fixes. i think that eventually we would liken ourselves to one of them too and can grasp some of your knowledge.

Just thinking of what would help me...especially if I was just starting out in golf and/or on this site...
Categorized posts, articles, videoes, etc. to quickly address common problems. (in golf I mean)
And a FAQ for the same purpose.

A video archives section with a short synopsis of the video. There is so much really excellent information in each video, it would be great to be able to go to the archive section aand select the ones you want to view. I frequently review the Manazella Shows espeicially Episodes 5, 7, and 8. These are just loaded with great information.

I would like to see videos or a section explaining your visualizations such as the underhand javelin throw, throw the monkey off the back, shake the sugar, etc.
In addition, I would like to see a section dealing with faults and fixes. For example, if someone is struggling with a steep downswing, they could visit the section to learn how to fix their unique problems.
Brain, I know you have no plans to charge for this forum, but maybe these specialized sections could be an exception.

Here is what I would really love to see....
As a student of yours...I wish I could get to Louisville or N.O. more often than once a year. I know you've made some attempts to provide continuing education but....I need continuing instruction. Can you do something to get that process to where I can see you once a month or every other month, via this website?
You could have a section on the your site for that and that part only could be available to students or participants.... The other thing I would like to see in this section is the post of others videos and instruction as well as mine (just a thought). If that's not an option...at least improve the continuing instruction portion of the site.
