What kind of problems might making a backswing which is not even close to neutral cause for someone trying to implement IATR? I am way under and over rotated going back then I steepen early in the downswing and work back under it coming into the ball. Just wondering about what moving towards a more neutral backswing might do for me.

Or

Why is making a neutral backswing part of the IATR video and why is it important? ("because it is" is an acceptable answer)

bump again.

checked myself today on video. Pop out and over rotated all the way to the top. Doing IATR effectively, but miss is ball that starts straight and fades right of target.

Any backswing can be followed with a transition of backing into the target and not-tugging.

The key is letting your arms swing across your body.

It seems to me that as I get better at implementing the IATRI find myself making a less rotated more neutral backswing.thanks Brian
