Answer to my email query about availability of next edition:

Thanks for your inquiry about the upcoming Seventh edition of The Golfing Machine. Mr. Kelley made many changes for the Seventh edition before his death in 1983. We are excited about publishing the Seventh edition and look forward to having it available in early 2006.

Hope they offer it in spiral bound edition as well as the old stand by. I would love a spiral edition to use or reference rather than the hardback currently out. (put a brick on each side to hold it open). Alternately, a three hole punch version would be perfect, then you can add notes in the appropriate spot.

I've heard that the book is now on CD so it's searchable and everything. I would think that would be in addition to a print version.

I just took a new copy of the book to Staples and had them punch and put it in a spiral bound. Of course I had to take it apart. Also I had them make a color copy of the cover and put plastic on it.

I also had them add about 50 blank pages at the end so I could add notes.

Total cost was less than $10.00.
