Thin To Win

Thank you for the video answers and congrats on the results of your fitness program.

Wow! That is really fantastic Brian, Thankyou!

I have been confused lately trying to figure out what backswing is best for me and what I am really trying to achieve, this has clarified things a lot.

As for 'when things go bad' thankyou very much I will be watching this again and again to absorb all of your great info. I am definately guilty of getting too quick and hitting fat.

Movie and Popcorn

Nice Brian.

So Good players like I said just end up thinning it some time. Still because they are just a touch below plane? I agree totally on under plane as the correct answer. Now, how can those good players clean up the thin hits?Liked how you explained the takeaway and the arms on the backswing with the Perfect pivot. Sweet, it will help many to get freedom from too much incorrect stuff being practiced Clarity.

Now as you have done so honorably on the backswing for how to get position of plane.

What you need to do, next up is from this perfect pivot and correct plane of the hands and arms. Is how to start the downswing with the perfect backswing/ arm plane pivot Is it from the left hip etc What goes wrong with folks with a perfect pivot backswing on the downswing. How does one that maybe getting under plane "end up under plane". Left hip start down, lowers right side too much? Too fast from the top/ too slow from the top. This would be a great follow up video your next spare moment. What do you think? I am sure you have just helped so many on your excellent, take them out to the movie video.
Again, you can be perfect at the top , now we have to be perfect at the bottom and to the finish. Start down and make solid collision of the ball.

As for glove wear, I agree most hold the club too much out on the end cap, help wear out the heel pad very soon. As for lot of balls hit. Wearing out the thumb pad good or bad. Okay I realize you don't wear them long enough to get wear.:) But for those that have to pay to play, what is your take on wear out areas and there place or non place in the golf swing.

Thanks for your time, it says a lot about you my fine friend. Its know wonder you are in the right place at the right time. Top of the line and not looking back. As we all do, we still must all look up.

Next piece of the puzzle please.

Thanks a bunch

Lou

Good stuff teach. You probably were hitting the driver good, but Craig hits it about 350 on the fly, so it didnt seen that good. LOL

Lou,

If you have some spare time, could you possibly bake a small cake for Brian and send it to him vacuum sealed by FedEx overnight? Only if you have some spare time.

Cheers,
Mike

Overall,
I've never seen a more entertaining piece of video instruction by any other instructor. Your voice is alive. Brian, you're too good to be kept a "secret."
Thanks for the video.

Yes, Lou...my cave is a club professional job at a country club, four young children, and having to prop up a friend who runs a very demnding golf website.....believe me, i spend more time convincing him to continue to give out his hard earned info FOR FREE to some demanding site "members" rather than personally posting myself....

so, watch how you tread or your free site and info could go bye-bye....

be thankful for what brian can get to and appreciate it....that's all i ask...

and bake him that cake

and when does the canton video come out???......maybe you should go bark up that tree on another free site

Great video Brian! Very nice explanation of the LCT. I will try letting the hips lead the hands to see if that smooths things out. I have not seen anything about driving the right shoulder to the left heel anywhere in the forum. Did you dig deep to come up with that one because it sure helped me swing less to Right field?

Nice work, Stallion!

Yet another gem. You packed more in that video than any "name" instructor could get across in 2 hours. If I were running The Golf Channel, I would have a nightly one hour prime time slot for "The Brian Manzella Show", where you could talk about anything you wanted...not only are you light-years ahead of the instruction bozos they normally showcase, but you can just damn flat out talk golf better than anyone on the planet. You have a gift of communication. Unfortunately, I'm not running The Golf Channel, but still....your day will come.

Really liked the explanation of the arms and pivot. Had never heard that before and have always wondered how the two should cooperate/coordinate.
I really liked when you went to the top of the swing and then moved body back to starting position to show where the arms were. Just goes to show that the golfswing is not a big huge movement with arms and body, something I have been trying to calm down in my own swing. Thanks for posting.
