So in hopes of getting a little action going on this board, I am going to start the typical "New Year Golf Goals" thread.

Mine

1. Spend the winter getting better at putting from 5-10 feet.
2. Spend the spring solidifying my progress I made last year on using the bounce when chipping and pitching.
3. Get a lesson from Brian.

What say you?

1) Break my next scoring barrier (which will involve playing more).

2) Leave my swing alone (focus more on the strike). My swing is what it is, I won't be taking a lesson any time soon, and I can hit a variety of shots with it. It's time to focus on skill development and refinement, as opposed to trying to build a certain type of swing in the hopes that it will get me the results I want by itself.

3) Have fun. I don't get to play enough to be getting all worked up about my game. Enjoy the game, the scenery, and the company (or lack thereof). Life's too short.

Chip better. My weakest link and probably the easiest to correct. Just no time to practice. Same old excuse.

1) Have my best professional year ever.

You should reach for the stars. In 2016, finish off a 7 year stretch, which match this handle-dragger's 2004 through 2011 resume

Three PGA TOUR champions
Five Nationwide Tour champions
Three PGA Section champions
Four PGA Section Players of the Year
Two PGA Section Teachers of the Year
Two state open champions
Two 2009 Q-School qualifiers
Four 2011 PGA Professional National Championship (PNC) qualifiers
