There are ONLY laws, not any specific 'ball flight' ones.

Lately I have been hitting MUCH better at the range. Last night I was doing a drill where I took a couple practice backswings, because I could get those in the right position. Then I would do a backswing and pause at the top to the count of three, and adjust my position if I was too flat, then hit balls from there. I hit the ball VERY very high but also really far, 175 yard 7 irons. My hands where leading at impact, and the ball did not have a ton of spin, but was very high. so how does angle of attact affect heighth?

Angle of attack affects spin.

More in/out = closed plane line = delofting clubface = less loft => less spin
More out/in = open plane line = adding loft to clubface = more loft => more spin
