Not going to fight anymore, but need some assistance

Hi golfers,

I naturally come down on the TSP. I am really okay with it and am playing some pretty good golf.

The problem I have is that it is so far from my starting position that I believe that it leads to some inconsistency.

Take a look and see if anybody would make any adjustments to make my setup more like impact.

To me, it just looks like it's missing something. My shaft at impact is much steeper than at address. I am okay with that, but it's steeper by a lot.

My thinking is, if that is my natural position at impact, should I change my setup to accommodate impact?

I am not seeing a steep impact, its not on the shaft plane of course but its not like the hand is high....slightly below the TSP.

I know it's not awful. But I post these from time to time for new ideas. It's a much better swing than it was a year ago.

May I suggest using the lower body more to finish the backswing and start the downswing(transition). If you are losing balls left, then I would suggest more axis tilt into impact.

I have always been more of an upper body rotater.

Doing what you suggest would need some specific feels for me to work on.

I think that is getting on the right track.

BTW, I hit the ball straight. I tend to miss thin if I miss.

Doesn't seem to be the case.

I am working on trying to keep my head from moving forward and then backwards towards impact. I find that keeping it from rotating open in the downswing is a good swing thought.

Just trying to let the left shoulder move away from my chin in the downswing.

Seems to me you swing very hard and the body does fall forward a little, and the left arm points well out the left in the finish.

Would it be possible to have the butt end of the club pointing at the target at the finish?

I can definitely give that a try.

Had a lesson this morning, the only thing that really was wrong was a little bit of head movement in the downswing.

Maybe a little less follow through would sync me up a little better.
