NOW AVAILABLE: Brian Manzella Golf Swing Symposium, "The Anti-Summit I" VIDEO!!

You just had to be there...

But if you couldn't attend, the video you have been waiting for, is finally available.

Three of the smartest people in the golf business, Dr. Aaron Zick—Engineer, Dr. Paul Wood—Physicist, & Dr. Rob Neal—Biomechanist, were the scientific panel at the 1st Brian Manzella Golf Swing Symposium, otherwise known as the ANTI-SUMMIT.

Mike Finney and myself put on the symposium because we were tired of going to seminars where questions were discouraged, and questioning an expert was all but banned. We wanted real science, or at least information from real scientists, and we wanted to be able to ask anything and debate everything.

We did it. It went off without a hitch, and we learned a ton of good information.

I was the moderator, always trying to keep the conversation moving, and asking the questions that needed to be asked. I also tried to keep everyone on point, and keep the discussion as free from opinion as possible.

The real-world panel of Mike Finney, Michael Jacobs, Damon Lucas, Jon Hardesty, and Steve Khatib did a great job of asking questions and keeping me on my toes.

The audience included quite a few TOP 100 teachers, and pros from 3 countries. They asked good questions, got solid answers, and everyone I spoke with had a great learning experience.

After a month and a half of editing, and encoding, the nearly 6 hours of video is now available.

The information in the videos is priceless, voluminousness.

It is in 4 separate segments, and will play on any computer in the streaming flash format that YouTube uses, and 98% of all computers have. If you have an iPhone or iPad there is a version for those products included as well.

The video is not available on DVD.

Cost is $100.

Could you describe what's in the video? Is it for teachers only?
I'm not sure what the Video provides....

It is a symposium, a meeting of the minds....

I ask questions, my panel of teachers ask questions, the teachers in the audience ask questions, and these questions are posed generally to the scientific panel. The answers usually come from multiple scientists and if there was a follow-up needed, from anyone, it was covered.

We started at impact, and then moved away from the ball in the backswing, we made a small detour in that route for a couple of topics, and had an open forum most of the final segment.

We talked about impact, the pivot, release, where power comes from, club design...etc, etc.

Golf swing breakthrough

Stayed up until early this morning watching this, for me, breakthrough work.

Can real science help you to swing better? For me yes. All the crap I loaded on from misinformed books and bad instruction simply falls away once real science is laid out clearly and succinctly. Now I know what is really important. No more noise and clutter; the route to improvement is clear. Can't wait to get to the range.

I think Brian rated this a B+. Perhaps, but I would rate Brian a A+. Yes his moderation was masterly but even more impressive is bringing together three scientists that can give an understandable yet comprehensive examination of the golf swing - physics, biomechanics and club mechanics.

For the cost of two lessons with your local club pro you will understand more than he or 90% of his peers know about the golf swing.

One question: In teaching the golf swing does the science point to any universals? Brian says he teaches the student not a method. But are there principles that apply to all students that, if violated, make it impossible to fashion a powerful, accurate shot?

Thanks Brian.

I guess a more precise question would be, how would this help me with my golf swing?
I understand this has to do with a lot of science, but with all the scientific numbers, it's very hard for me to apply those into my golf swing. I read a lot of numbers and theories on this website, and they are for mental stimulation, but as far as applying into the golf swing it's another story. I'm going to purchase it today, I'm just hoping it's more than scientific numbers and physics.:p

Just Got Back From The Bank

The Anti-Summit Video is a Must Have. This will be The Number One World Traveler Video in golf. I wish it came with mileage awards.
