If you do not buy this or attempt to save up to buy this: you are a penny pincher!

Without doubt the information and short cutting and the mistakes and illusions we all have is worth years of time and money not to mention the progress you could make.

Buyer beware: Caveat Emptor
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE CLOSED MINDED AND LOVE YOUR METHOD, AS YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED TO GIVE UP SOME OF YOUR OLD MYTHS AND MISCONCEPTIONS!

I guess a more precise question would be, how would this help me with my golf swing?
I understand this has to do with a lot of science, but with all the scientific numbers, it's very hard for me to apply those into my golf swing. I read a lot of numbers and theories on this website, and they are for mental stimulation, but as far as applying into the golf swing it's another story. I'm going to purchase it today, I'm just hoping it's more than scientific numbers and physics.:p

I understand the concern, and yes a lot of it is the "nitty gritty" of golf instruction. Why do certain things go certain ways and is there an optimal.

Ultimately though there are lots of nuggets. One of my favorites is in my signature. It does mean something directly to my golf swing. I think about how I'm going to apply force differently.

I'll drink to that, Steve.

After purchasing, how long would it take to receive the download locations via email (and how big are the downloads)? I have a long train ride this afternoon, so it would be a good opportunity to watch it.

I am tettering, not that I am a penny pincher, but will I watch the video and go eh?????
D-plane knowledge in my head.....lost confused between everyones opinion on it, lets get a class together for people like me that want to know. Sorry if the info is not right and not in front of me....can't learn. Also how about a Manzella magazine....Golf Digest is unsubscribed from my house ! Thanks

Those with a closed mind and a method im sure will find a way to dispute things one way or another. This appears to be for those who would actually like some answers on how things actually work.

I am saving my extra cash as we speak.;)

I haven't seen a shred of discrepancy on d-plane on here in 6 months at least. Different ways of saying it, sure. Unresolved standoffs? Haven't seen it.

Yay it's ready!

Just realized...

Symposium: In ancient Greece, the symposium was a drinking party (from Greek sympotein, "to drink together").

Drinking from the fountain of knowledge!! Huuuzuhhh!!!

But then again a wise person is said to only know that they know nothing...

(huzuhhh...!!)

Buying it is not really my big concern......finding the time to watch it is. It will be in my library as soon as I can get this home computer to work the same way more than one day in a row.

Enjoying the symposium video alot ! Thanks Brian - alot of material and a really good panel of experts! Will take several viewings to get the most out of it and I am only 1/3rd of my way through for the first time.

Is there a way to download each segment and save to my computer? I usually do "save link as" when i click on the link to video...but that just saves a tiny firefox document file...

Any help please? I am trying to download the flash files rather than the ipad/iphone versions.

Thanks!

Open the ipad/phone versions and you can save it as mv4 (MPEG-4) files.

Good Steve. Sadly, many will want to protect cherished theories. Was it Shakespeare who said "Ignorance is bliss"?

BTW I was impressed with your questions and the way they were posed (with the possible exception of the Strine [kidding, of course]).

seriously good and fun!

Nearing the end of section 3 - debate getting more heated but just as interesting - it is a fun video to watch ...alot of information and really good expert opinions. These guys are friendly and funny but sufficiently geeky to be very serious about their science!! (geeky in a good way...details are their business and they will not accept woolly data!) They are precise about their terminology and people who use pseudoscientific terms which do not fit in with the theoretical world of physics or real world empirical data will struggle in their company.

There are alot of science terms in the video but people who use this site willl have sufficient familiarity to have no problems understanding IMO....but it is not,nor was it meant to be, for the golf channel crowd... Big thanks Brian and panel for fun and fascinating viewing ...now 01-17 hrs here in UK, another section to view and still wide awake ...partly due to radio commentary of Australian cricket team suffering at the hands of England ...heaven!

It was the hardest thing I ever did in the biz....

Planning, promoting, and presenting this symposium was a bunch of work. The actual moderating was exhausting!

But, after watching it a bunch in the last few weeks doing the editing and encoding, I am very happy with the results.

We PROVED that if you have a strong moderator, you can have an OPEN FLOOR and no one will get hurt—so to speak.

:)

almost complete

you did 2 invites to come to the symposium 2 of them on YOUTUBE

maybe think about 30 seconds or a minute (your choice) to tell people where to purchase it..

and use YOUTUBE again....to share a bit about it.... the people that were there.... scientists....... golf pros........how long the video is....topics covered.....and some video of the event....

but then again....just my thoughts

Hi my British Bulldog friend, I am glad you are enjoying the summit. It is pretty heavy duty stuff, as your brain can overload at times with all the thinking and re-thinking required.

I think you are going too be too strong in the Cricket, although I hope we can frustrate you guys and draw some matches that we should loose.

Sure that it going to be closer than it looks at the moment - just hope that Ricky Ponting doesn't end up like kim Hughes... even an englishman's stiff upper lip quivers a bit watching this guy trying to admit he was failing...

Back to golf...the symposium material takes alot of digesting...leads to so many questions...what will be the forum rules re. discussing material from the symposium video??
