Playing Dunes West, Rivertowne and Charleston National, any recommendations from anyone in the area. Group of people I am playing with are not big time golfers and went to play a course under 60 dollars.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Dunes West and Rivertowne are across the street from each other and neither are under $60. Both are really good courses. Never played Charleston National

Thanks for the info I was able to lock down Dunes for 59 and Rivertowne was my one splurge based on some recommendations, only half of us are going to play Rivertowne.

I just came back from Charleston. I played Rivertowne, Charleston National, Legend Oaks, Patriots Point and...... The Ocean Course.

I really liked Rivertowne; Charleston National was very good, also. Legend Oaks- meh. Try Patriots Point if they don't want to pay a whole lot. #17 Par 3 is cool. Look on golfnow.com for deals because <$60 anywhere (good) is difficult.

Went to Charleston for the first time just before the PGA. I played all 3 days at the Dixie Cafe. Cannot recommend it enough. :)

Agree with number 17 at Patriots Point. One of the most scenic holes I have played anywhere.
