My predictions for this weekend:

Atlanta over Arizona
Minnesota over Philadelphia
Baltimore over Miami
Indianapolis over San Diego

Fast Forwarding a bit.....

NFC Championship Game = Carolina vs. New York -- Carolina for the upset
AFC Championship Game = Tennesse vs. Indianapolis -- Indianapolis for the upset

Super Bowl

Carolina vs. Indianapolis == Carolina for the win!

Call me crazy but that is what i see happening; imo Carolina are this years 2008 New York Giants.

Carolina FTW! Panthers!

I live in Charlotte. We're all just trying to avoid getting our hopes too far up. We like being overlooked. Harder to do this year though. 12-4 leads to higher expectations. Perhaps the Pats missing the playoffs with an 11-5 record is a sign of redemption for the Panthers?

Arizona - Kurt Warner throws all over ATL
Philly - Runs all over Minn and shuts down Adrian P
Miami - Finds a way to score one point more than Ravens
Chargers - Find a way to win another one

the bears who are average team shut down tenn running game and because of half ass pass defense we lost. I just don't feel they are as good as their record shows.

Well, any team in the NFL ought to be able to stop a running game when you put 9 men in the box. Indy is getting on a roll and starting to play their best, that is scary. When teams start getting on a roll towards the playoffs, they can go a long way, look at the Titans in '99. It really seems to be about momentum this time of year, I am just hoping that the big win over Pittsburgh started the momentum for us.

love it - except I want Indy over Carolina in the SB - I live in carolina but have been a colts fan for 11 years.

Here's my picks as well:

Minnesota over Philly. Eagles have been average at best. Andy Reid has done a horrible coaching job this season and everyone is blinded by the fact that they beat a terribly organized and coached Dallas team last week. No one seems to remember that they are only 9-6-1. All bets are off if Minnesota decides to try and make Tavaris Jackson throw too much, though.

Atlanta over Arizona. Rookie quarterbacks usually can't be trusted in the playoffs, but in this case it's more that Arizona's defense has been atrocious. If Arizona's defense shows up or Edgerrin James wakes up from a three-year coma, they have a chance.

Baltimore over Miami. Again, rookie quarterback blah blah blah. The Ravens thrashed Miami in the regular season. Their defense also continues to play well; you can't tell me that Chad Pennington is not scared of Ed Reed at this point. The Dolphins are a great story, but it stops here.

Indy over San Diego. How are people picking San Diego? You remember that they're 8-8 right? And that the matchups are Rivers vs. Manning, Turner vs. Dungy? And that they beat the Chargers in the regular season (at home)? And Indy is on a 9-game winning streak? How again are people picking San Diego?

You are correct. I apparently have no idea what I'm talking about so far.

Both Arizona's and San Diego's defenses showed up in a large way. Great games.

LOL.......I hope you guys know more about the golf swing then picking football games! Keep wiping that mud off holeout, LOL.....Since were talking football, how about college, I think you have to call Utah the national champions, they are the only undefeated team and beat 'bama worse then Florida.

I believe Arizona will beat Carolina and the Giants beat the Eagles (will be very close game)

Ravens will beat Titans

Steelers beat San Diego (If LT is back this could be a SD upset)

Giants beat Arizona (defense is too tough)

Ravens beat Steelers (its all about the D)

Super Bowl - Giants vs Ravens - tossup but Giants win again.
