Out to right but not to left

Brian, Okay, why do most not understand that the club from correct on plane inside top position (backswing) has to appoarch the ball down and out. The hands and arms swing down on plane, and very quickly move left to stay on the path plane. Most either swing down the line or leave everything out to right. Why is it they don't understand the hands and arms must move left, through the ball?

The sites on the range and course are weak block fades, and many slicing and hookers on all corners of the fairways.

What are they all missing in there coconut. How would you train them to learn to move left through the ball, when there minds are thinking, out or down the line. For clarity and free up there confidence to play better golf on the course with out thinking so much about what may happen or what they seem to think on the course of what has to happen.

Left of what? One should not confuse the line to the target with the plane line.

A player playing a draw will have a plane line to the right of the target line (how about 4 deg right with a clubface 2 deg open to the target line but 2 deg closed to the plane line. The club will can move left of the plane line after impact and still be moving to the right of the target line.

The opposite is true of a fader (Trevino is a perfect example) - down and out to the ball but always to the left of the target line.

Use brian's foam plane board or have them use some plane lasers to SEE where the plane line is and how far left they really need to go.
