passive hands

as you know, I am not a student of TGM but I do like to keep the hands and arms very passive and especially driver at top I pause slightly, not so anyone but me notices but it allows(I think)my lower body to go ahead of my upper which drops me into the slot. I used to pull drivers once in awhile until I started the pause.
What do you think?

I think the passive arms/hands idea encourages pivot controlled hands, something Homer saw as an option, but from what I gather much preferred hands controlled pivot. Having said that, as long as one has educated the hands, I guess it is an option.

You could think passive hands are hands that work correctly, hands that dont need to flip or hold to try to get correct through the hitting area.
