Hey, has anyone used the Pure Ball Striker?

I'm looking to learn to really lag the sweetspot and stop my casting with longer clubs (costing me a lot of clubhead speed :( example, I can hit a 6 iron 185 yards, but my driver only goes 220-230...). I've been working on swinging with right forefinger and thumb off the club, but now when putting those fingers back on, I'm at a loss to keep the same sensations and get any power in the swing.

Is the PBS worth it? Good idea?

I've had mine for a few months, and yes, it's worth every penny. If you teamed up the PBS with CMartin's Tour Striker, I don't see how you could not eliminate casting, flipping, or not lag the sweetspot.

I've been thinking of getting one as well. What a ridiculous price. How about the $6.95 shipping charge????

Why do people charge so much? I can't believe it cost more than a buck to make. Everyone deserves a profit but I sure hate paying someone 1400% profit, not to mention the postage rip-off.

I guess he just can't think how many he would sell at a reasonable price ...

I have one. I think the price is fair, but the shipping was frustrating. It seems that there must be serious profit in the shipping. Just make the product the correct price, and charge a 'fair' s&h charge.

I do like the PBS, although I go in waves of 'usefulness' when using it.

There's all kind of recoup cost when bringing a product to market; just curious if you have any experience with the cost of creating a product/marketing/r&d/etc?

It's not that expensive, maybe you should pick a new hobby??? Just say'n

Well, IMO, the thing is a bargain. I paid less than 20 bucks shipped for something than helped me big time. There are a lot of high $ training aids that don't really teach anything constructive to building a dynamic swing. The PBS will. If you struggle with a flip, or sensing that PP, it's the best aid there is. If you use it with watching Brian's flipper video, you'll have a left wrist Ben Doyle would be proud of!

It cost almost 5 dollars for 1 pound priority mail these days. So you are paying $2 for the packaging. Big Deal. The product is great and is priced very low at $13 .95. Jeff Evans is a one of the good guys so save your penny’s and get one. It will help your swing and support a fellow TGM instructor.

Geez..you guys are killing Wali. Just wondering why this is better than, taking the forefinger and thumb on the low hand off. Can't you feel the same things without the PB?? By the way, before I get killed for siding with Wali a little here..I have a PB. I like it, but think you can also get alot out of the forefinger/thumb off the shaft drill brian prescribes. Just sayin'.

You can definitely use the forefinger/thumb drill and get great results. What I like about the PBS that's different, is I move mine around a little to experiment with different shots. I always wondered why in Five Lessons Hogan said these "swing wreckers" were better served for advanced players to fine tune shot making, and with the PBS, it helps me feel the slight differences in trajectory and flight shapes. Like I said, IMO, well worth 20 bucks, and I don't care if it only cost a nickel to make. Who knows how much $$$ I've blown on crap that didn't help me at all.
