I suppose this could account for my tendency to hit the ball above the equator whilst the clubhead is still seeking low point, thereby literally hammering the ball into the ground.:eek:

That and one hundred and one other things! :)

Seems to me that the closer the lenses are to your eyes the less this interference occurs - right?

That's probably true, except there's nothing I can do about MY glasses to bring them closer without interfering with my eyelashes. Nor would I want to. I CAN adjust their position in front of my eyes up or down...within a certain range. I have yet to test the adjustment.
 
Anyone ever find the shank video?
This problem has been plaguing me for the past few weeks.
I can no longer hit shots that require more backswing than a chip, but less than a full swing.
It's driving me insane.
I don't know for a fact there coming off the hosel, but they're definitely chili dippin right, or I'm hitting down and topping it 10 yards forward.

I see Brian's on his way to Louisville. I wonder if there's room for a lesson in his schedule?
