Been working extremely hard on a good pivot. I seem to get lazy in this area and lack of a good turn/pivot shows up when I am tired or just lose focus on it.
In practicing in the mirror, I noticed that as I start to turn the trunk around the spine, if I lift/raise my hands, at around 1/2 back, it bends the right elbow and seems to help me get a nice full pivot. I seem to get a fuller turn as though the hands are actually assisting in the process.
First off, does this make sense and if so, am I heading for trouble using my hands lifting to assist in finishing my back pivot??
