Plane board

I know a guy that has a decent relationship with Bender and he said if Zach could go back in time he would work with a plane board every day religiously. I'm curious what the instructors here think of that? Do you use one with your teaching? Is it a good idea? He has instructions he said he would give me if I ever wanted to build one. Thanks

Serves a purpose; helps me from getting too under plane on the downswing. I just bend some card board and gets me back on track.
