Thanks, man. Even though Brian certainly doesnt prescribe to any non customized methodology, and neither do I, there are things that are athletic and there are things that are "theory" or even contrived (with no basis in physics or athletics). The pre set thing is one of them. I'm not saying that someone cant be helped by this, but eventually they'll have to go with something else.
The more i learn from BMan, and the more I look at old school stuff and certain swings, and the more I think about other sports, the more crystal clear the entire golf swing is to me.
I have had two students who are similar to the other poster who don't have the stones to use the LCT on the course but stripe it on the range; very mental.
Also; LCT is a great takeaway for someone who takes the club too far to the inside.
Kevin - I bet you just love Leadbetter's no backswing "swing of the future." Talk about eliminating all athleticism from the motion!

No video. Golf Digest article from a few years ago. Idea was to start with club nearly all the way back, eliminating backswing errors. Also eliminating an athletic move.
