Pre-turned hip

FWIW, this may help some of you.

If some players take their address position and simply turned their right hip at address...they would feel nothing. As if they were standing on a sheet of ice. Now take your address position, put your hands on your hips and try to push your right foot forward as hard as you can (like you are sliding into the front of your shoe) and turn your right hip back. You will probably feel it now. Use the ground...its your friend.

This might be a little off topic but if you've ever watched Rory Mcilroy up close in person or its noticable on tv too for all shots, he turns his hips the opposite way(counter-clockwise) before he starts the backswing. Maybe its just a swing trigger but this thread got me thinking maybe there is more to it than that?
