Does the description of what I had to do make sense?

Should the hands go in a curve to the left at impact and after?

It feels like I'm pulling my arms down my left hand side, as if I was holding a dagger out the back of my left hand, I was stabbing someone standing to the left of me in the lower gut??? Before obviously rotating and completing the swing.

If this makes no sense, tell me.

if your pushing it, then thats the feeling you want

Thanks Pecky.

I'm finding it difficult to find much info on hand plane and where hands should be in certain positions.

I definitely had mine in a position that made the shaft more vertical/upright at impact.

By lowering them, I was able to allow the centrifugal force to fire the club out towards the ball better.

I understand where shoulders need to be etc now, just would like to confirm where hands go in the swing as they can easily do different things as mine have.

Any info on this anywhere?

there was a thread about this a while ago. it said that because the hands form a smaller arc than the clubhead, the hands start travelling 'up-and-in' whilst the club is still travelling 'down-and-out'

Pecky, but they definitely follow an arc, I think that was my problem.

I got the impression that were to follow the plane down the target line.

Hands and club pointing down the target line as you might find in a pitch shot with curtailed follow thru?? I definitely read that somewhere, not on this site, but in some book or other.

I'm sure you've heard things like 'hit the ball with the back of you left hand' which naturally makes me think the left hand should be inline and over the ball.

This site rocks for information like, really does.
