There's a reason why they call this 'Golfing Discussions.' You're supposed to 'discuss' topics. Nothing wrong with saying 'tracing does not work', but it's more helpful if you explain why it does not work or why in your experience it did not work.

Thanks for all the feedback thus far.

A tip that really helped my putting was holding the grip more with my finger"tips". The trick is finding the amount of pressure that doesn't hinder your feel (too tight) or cause you to flip (too loose).

You can make a simple adjustable plane board for under $15

3 foot long 1" X 10" pine plank (try to find a nice level, flat, straight one)
2 kickdown door stops
National at Lowe's: Kickdown Door Stops

Mount the door stops 2-3 inches above the bottom of the plank. I suggest you test the best place to mount the stops before you screw them in place.
